How You Can Get Involved and Help Klamath Basin Family Farmers & Ranchers

Ready to pitch in and support saving Klamath Basin agriculture? Here’s what you can do –

  • Like and follow our page on Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/shutdownfedup/
  • Watch our News & Updates page for the latest information about the Shut Down & Fed Up movement.
  • Donate at our GoFundMe page.
  • Share our message and speak up. 2021 is proving to be an even more challenging year than 2020 and 2001. This situation could have been avoided through proper management of the Klamath Project, but instead we’re dealing with the lack of foresight the method of one-species management dictated by the Endangered Species Act and the Bureau of Reclamation. Not only is this hurting our ranches and farms, it’s impacting our wildlife refuges.
  • Learn to identify the misinformation. We’ve been tackling some of the misinformation, and to be honest, straight out lies about Klamath Basin ag, this crisis and how the Klamath Irrigation Project works. You can learn more about these prevalent myths on our category page Lies, Damn Lies & Misinformation.

While we’re facing another shut down, this will not be a one-time event and it could have been avoided. Our Basin is affected every year, and as regulations become more onerous and the Endangered Species Act more rigid and focused on one-species mangement, we will continue to lose Klamath Basin family farms and ranches. If you would like to get involved, please get in touch with us. You can email us at info@shutdownfedup.org.
